UGH!! It's SOOOOOOO cold here in central Ohio AND... it's snowing again. I'm over the snow... I'm ready for it to go away... with my negative feelings about this winter mess is it any wonder that I'd be so happy to sit indoors and play with the new Build-a-Blossom Stamp set and Blossom Petals Punch from Stampin' Up!? (see it here: http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=121994)
I'm loving that the Blossom Petals Punch can give you so many options and so many different flowers. I'm finding that allowing my mind's eye to wander into my imagination, I can come up with a garden of possibilities.
For this card I've incorporated Pretty in Pink and Pink Piroutte blossoms on a stamped and embossed piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
The colors used here are Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke.
The close-ups of the top and lower right corner show off the Stampin' Up! half-back pearls and a Stampin' Up! Antique Brad topped off with a little half-back pearl.
The embossing behind the flowers are done with the embossing folder "Antique Wallpaper" from Stampin' Up!. The longstemmed flowers embossed on the trim panel are from Cuttlebug.
The sentiment is actually two individual word stamps from one of my flavorite Stampin' Up sets, "Fabulous Phrases." I absolutely ADORE the font used in this set and love that the words are all separate from each other so you can build your own sentiments as you go.
I am sure to make many more projects using all my flavorites but today I'm having fun with Build-a-Blossom and the Blossom Petals Punch.
Thanks for Stopping By!
